Our Mission, Story, and Team
Who We Are
CREATIVE HEALTH PROJECT

Our mission is to conduct participatory research focused on enhancing the health literacy of children and young people in disaster-prone and disaster-vulnerable countries across Asia and Africa, including Japan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Rwanda.
Combining medical, nutritional, and artistic activities, our “Creative Health” program takes a participatory approach to children’s health and education, strengthening their roles in the community.
As the program is implemented, various types of data including qualitative, quantitative, textual, and visual are collected from workshop participants of all ages. These are then analyzed and cross-validated to inform strategies for improving youth health and community engagement.
As a key outcome of the project, we will develop a University–Community Collaboration Manual for Implementing Creative Health to support the broader dissemination and practical implementation of the program across diverse international settings.
